In August 1922, the British announced ‘The Palestine Order in Council' - a legal document outlining the nature of their mandate. According to Clause #82 all official publications had to be in English, Arabic and Hebrew. This law remains valid until today. Abraham type family has 3 scripts: Hebrew, Arabic and Latin – A single typographic voice in which each script is an equal partner. Its main usage is public signage in Israel.
